The NBA trade puts the west at a huge advantage this season

What an exciting trade season it’s been. The western conference seems pretty stacked, yet I wonder how that will play out for the rest of the season. Kyrie Irving made his debut on February 8th defeating the Los Angeles Clippers at the Crypto Arena. Irving being paired with Luka Dončić looks solid from the offensive point of view; however, the defense of the Mavericks is what would concern them the most. Many sports fans are convinced that any team Dallas plays against will be a high-scoring game because this team will only prioritize their offense. When I heard people saying this, it made me laugh because I remember in the 2021 NBA playoffs every team Dallas faced was a high-scoring game.

Another trade I find pretty exciting is the Kevin Durant trade to Phoenix. I’m not a Suns fan, however, I wouldn’t mind them taking over the western conference for the rest of the season. I’m also saying that because I wouldn’t want to see Golden State win another championship this year. Russell Westbrook finally left LA which I like to call, the “End of an Error.” I wish LeBron knew that staking a team with older players won’t permanently seal the deal. That’s why teams with players such as the Nuggets and Memphis are dominating the west.
