Jalen Stubbs is a DMV journalist, ambassador, and philanthropist, who currently serves as a production assistant for NBC Washington. Here, he is utilizing his resources to grow as a storyteller. Jalen is also a member of the Washington Association of Black Journalists and board member for the Sport Philanthropy society of Washington DC. While at George Mason, he served as the Sports Editor, Managing Editor, and co-anchor for student media. Outside of that, Jalen served as the Director of Communications for the Black Male Success Initiative as well as a student ambassador for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
Growing up in Rockville, MD, Stubbs learned to value the importance of diversity and working with others. His father always taught him the importance of perseverance and sacrifice. He utilizes this concept in his previous jobs as he continues to excel in his career.
